initial consultation

  • With new clients we aim to begin with a posture and gait (walk/run) assessment. Expect to have photos taken of your posture and videos taken of your gait. We do this in order to cater the training towards you as an individual.

  • Based on your assessment you will begin to work on some FP fundamentals. This time will be a great way to understand the kinds of training you will do with your FP practitioner and how you will go about improving your posture and biomechanics.

One on one personal training

  • One of the benefits of working one on one with an FP practitioner is that you get a profoundly personalised approach to your body and health. We will focus on your individual issues in order to make significant improvements to your posture and biomechanics.

    The most notable way we do this is with the potent corrective exercises (or chambers) which FP is known for. These will make you feel new connections in your body in places you may have never felt before.

  • As you continue on your FP journey your practitioner will keep you accountable to FP protocols. FP protocols include but are not limited to exercise, diet, sleep, and stress management.

    Our results-driven approach ensures that we will do what can to help our clients improve their posture and movement.

group classes

  • Once you start training with a practitioner at London Biomechanics you will be able to attend small group classes. These are a great opportunity to meet other FP doers in London and ‘top up’ your 1 on 1 training with a practitioner.

    The group class will run one morning and one evening per week. There is a maximum size of 6. For clients only.

  • Group classes will focus on building competence with the Functional Patterns system. The format will be circuit training.

    Competence with the Functional Patterns system is vital to achieve success with your training. Circuit training gives you the opportunity to experiment with different exercises on your own but with a practitioner not far away. Emphasis will be placed on using your own feeling and mirrors as feedback.
